Quartz
Quartz countertops offer several benefits that make them very attractive. It is a non-porous material, meaning it will not harbor bacteria and is stain resistant. It is a very dense material, which makes it impact and scratch resistant. Quartz materials are offered in a variety of colors and patterns, some of which look like natural granite, marble, limestone or concrete. Most manufacturers carry a minimum of a ten-year warranty on their quartz products.
Granite
Granite is produced from purely natural stone that comes directly from stone quarries and is then cut into slabs. The beauty and durability of granite slabs and tiles have made them a favorite surface throughout the ages.
Marble
Marble is perfect for offices, bathrooms, fireplaces, and other locations that don't get heavy use. Marble is more susceptible to scratches, chips, and stains than granite because it is a softer stone that typically has a higher porosity. Often used in kitchens for a 'bake zone', marble kitchen countertops offer a classic stone look, and the cool and smooth surface makes it perfect for countertops.
